Michael Tiddes is directing the film, with Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, and Keenen Ivory Wayans are returning to write the script alongside longtime collaborator Rick Alvarez, who is also producing. The movie will be released on June 12, 2026. The original film is one of the best movies by any Wayans Family member, having been directed by In Living Color cast member and creator Keenen Ivory Wayans and starring his brothers, Shawn and Marlon, who also co-wrote the film with several others, including Rick Alvarez (who is also producing the picture).
