Hi all. I recently suffered from SSHL where I had moderate hearing loss in my right ear. I've heard the AAP2 have a great hearing / amplification boost function equal to quality hearing aids.
I've been quite depressed with my loss of hearing and would be keen to try these to help pick me up. Problem is I have a Android phone ( Need it for my work) and I am not ready to carry 2 phones just yet.
Can I use the new Pro 2's on Android? If it helps I have an iPad at home but won't be carrying that with me 24/7 in case it's jus needed for setup. Does anyone know? Also can I just have the amplification on one side as my left ear is all good. Thanks in advance ...

My dad was told recently that he could use Airpods Pro as hearing aids, even if he doesn't have an iphone. I'm not great with electronics, but I'm better than Dad, so I told him I'd try to figure this out. I see several apps on Play to connect Airpods Pro to Android phones, but not sure which ones will let them act as hearing aids. I know from what I've read that the iphone has a setting for this. Is there anything that will do the same for Android?
