I’m seriously considering closing my Wells Fargo account and switching to Ally. But I have some questions.
Could an Ally card be used to withdraw/deposit money on any ATM? Like, could I use it on a Wells Fargo ATM or a Chase or BoA ATM etc, and it’ll work? Will there be any fees?

I have loved Ally for the past few years. If I'm in Vegas, I use the ripoff ATMs. No big deal. One time I was at a strip club with a $20 ATM fee, reimbursed. As of August 15, their policies on ATM reimbursement become much more strict. So... Who has a suggestion of where to move to? I'm thinking First Republic Bank. You have to have a $3500 balance in order to not be assessed a monthly fee and to get interest, but if you count that $3500 as a one-time fee, that's not so bad. Text from the Ally email pasted below:
" ATM Fees Ally is pleased to announce that we have joined the Allpoint® network to allow customers no-fee access to more than 43,000 ATMs nationwide. Allpoint is the largest no-fee network, with terminals throughout the U.S. in locations such as CVS and Walgreens pharmacies, Target stores, 7-11 convenience stores, and various other regional retailers. Ally will include Allpoint locations on its free ATM and Cash Locator app by the end of August 2015.
Ally Bank continues to not charge customers ATM fees, however, we will now limit ATM fee reimbursements to $10 per statement cycle for fees charged by other institutions or ATM owners nationwide.
It's easy to avoid ATM fees altogether by using the Allpoint network, or by shopping with your debit card and asking for "cash back" as part of your transaction.
Overdraft Fees Although Ally Bank will continue to limit overdraft item paid and overdraft item returned fees to just one per day, please be aware that the maximum daily fee is changing from $9 to $25. Remember, Ally does not charge any overdraft fees for ATM or debit card transactions.
To help avoid overdraft fees, you can sign up for Ally Bank's free Overdraft Transfer Service online, or by calling us at 1-877-247-ALLY (2559). Then, if you're ever overdrawn, we'll automatically transfer available funds from your Online Savings or Money Market Account into your Interest Checking Account to cover the difference. You can also sign up online to receive an email alert when your balance goes below a set amount. "
