I was a business intelligence engineer, expectation as stated by I think director was 60-80 hours a week. I left after that statement. Pretty sure he was forced out soon after. I grew a lot at Amazon switching from ops to analytics but it was demanding. If you are young, it’s probably worth it, like I said I grew a lot there, did awesome projects and learned a ton. I just wasn’t willing to choose work over kid (first was born before I left).
