There's no difference in the Prime Video selections between Prime Student and normal Prime. The only difference I've noticed so far is that you can't add anyone to your Prime Video household, which means if you share accounts for Prime Video, you don't get separate "profiles". More on reddit.com

I cancelled mine. Nothing is two day shipping, easier and faster to order online for curbside at a local store. Too many fake products, no quality control. Ads being introduced to prime video. Who the hell actually uses prime music or their podcast app. It’s a fucking nightmare to actually use. No prime for me. More on reddit.com

The $7.49 rate shown is the student monthly rate. The annual student rate is $69. So for some reason its showing you the non-student annual price; the regular monthly rate is $14.99. Either way, don't switch from the $7.49 a month rate unless it's to the $69 a year student annual rate. More on reddit.com

I recently finished my student prime membership deal which lasted 4 years. I am going back to school again at a different university to get a post bachelors and was wondering if i am allowed to either get additional years of prime on the student price on my current account or just make a new account with my new school email to be eligible for the student pricing.

Talk to them. My wife, when we where dating in college had student prime. Then she went to work. Then started her masters and got prime again and now she's doing another Masters and PhD. She still has prime. So, I guess the 4 year limit is not a hard limit.

Hi:
My wife and I are both college students who have Prime Student memberships. We've noticed that, even with Prime Student, we still need to pay for certain tv shows and movies.
I've always heard that Prime is a great way to cut the cable cord but, based on our experiences, I can't imagine how it would be by paying for both the student membership and then paying a la cart for additional movies and tv shows.
That leads me to this question: Is there a difference between what regular Prime members get vs what Prime Student members get? Do regular Prime members get everything included in Prime with the $99 while students get some (but not all) Prime things with their $49?
I would appreciate any insight into this. Thank you!
