Now how am I supposed to know when my orders will arrive? I ordered around 11 items yesterday 😭😭
Hi r/Amazon! I recently purchased a notebook, it wasn't from Amazon but from a seller on Amazon. I got the confirmation email, and the money came out of my bank account so I assumed everything was normal. I usually use the app, and when I went to the "orders" tab, it wasn't showing up. I then went to my browser and it showed up when I went that route. It was fine for a few days, but now it's not showing up in my browser either! It's like there's no trace of me ordering it on Amazon, just in my email and bank account.
Am I looking in the wrong place or something? Should I contact amazon??
Right now I have to open the Amazon app, click the order, scroll down, click view order details, then scroll down again to see the total paid for an order.
Is there an app that shows your orders with the amounts you paid right on the same screen?
This would be helpful because I’m using a budgeting app to track expenses. When I do an Amazon order I need to be able to go into the budget app and properly categorize each expense. $13.56 is pets, $21.45 is personal care, $15.73 is medical, etc.
I purchased a Denon X3800H receiver on October 16 from Amazon, but as of today, the order status still only shows “Order Received” without any updates. I haven’t received any notifications via email either.
When I reached out to Amazon customer service, the first representative simply replied that any updates would be sent to me by email. The second representative initially misunderstood my question and added Amazon Global Priority Shipping to my order that cost me $90USD. Although I asked her to cancel it right away, I noticed that, with Priority Shipping, the item would have arrived the following week.
Given this, if it’s not an out-of-stock issue, what could Amazon be up to? What usually causes this kind of delay in order status updates?
