I’ve been working at this for a couple hours now, and have tried every forum fix under the sun, including Update all drivers and BIOS, everything is current as of 09/13/21 Uninstalling and reinstalling Ryzen master with a restart in between the two Cleaning the Ryzen master drivers out of regedit and then the above steps Changing directory Changing folder ownership Last resort was running CC cleaner to remove everything related, restart computer and then go for an install. Tried it on 3 drives with 3 different directories. No joy and am completely stumped. Any experience working with this issue is welcome and appreciated For reference: Aorus B450 Pro Wifi, V F62B R5-3600 Nitro + 5700XT

AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys is part of the AMD Ryzen Master utility which is used for overclocking the CPU. The Memory integrity feature in Windows is blocking the vulnerable driver from loading, hence the error message.

You can uninstall the AMD Ryzen Master utility via Settings → Apps and Features.

If you need it later to overclock the CPU, you can download the latest version from the AMD site.

Description of Original Problem: Ryzen Master says "Ryzen Master Driver not Installed properly. Driver Not installed!"

Troubleshooting: I have tried uninstall/reinstall, uninstalling the chipset drivers and reinstalling them, completely cleaning Ryzen Master + it's associated folders from the computer, deleting old RegEdit versions, edited RegEdit "ImagePath" property to remove "??", used the Microsoft tool to check for any program conflicts

This all started because I upgraded from the 3700X to the 5800X. I tried all of the typically recommended fixes and still nothing is working.

Hey OP! I was having the same trouble. Tried every fix on the net and was disappointed to find that most solution seemed outdated (couldn't find a version 13 or 14 in my registry to remove, just 19) and only seemed to work once for the initial fix and then would be broken again. I just solved this myself after getting my hopes up that the new driver would fix it. It seemed to fix it at first but alas, it was again a one-and-done (meaning broken again). However this got me curious enough about the registry entry that upon looking at it, the problem is obvious. Turns out that if you point the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\AMDRyzenMasterDriver entry in your registry at the driver that is in the Ryzen Master install folder, it will just work and continue to work. Mine was located at \Program Files\AMD\RyzenMaster\bin\AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys I used that in my ImagePath for the normal driver entry in the registry. I also changed the version 19 entry to this as well, but it changed back to the wrong value after a reboot. This didn't cause the solution to stop working this time however. The normal driver entry value saved and kept working.

Try installing the chipeset driver from the ASrock website that goes to your specific motherboard.

Hello, today I had to reinstall my windows. After installing it I ran into problems with ryzen master not being able to start.

I have tried reinstalling it, deleting Registry files and other online solutions I found.

NOTHING worked for me.

Then as a last hope I contacted one of the most knowledgeable people I know that found a way to fix it. And the fix is extremely illogical.

Chances are, if you have this error you are using and AMD GPU.

Chances, yet again, I would assume you installed the GPU drivers through AMD Adrenaline, but perhaps you forgot to clean on Advanced Settings and check the "Factory Reset" option.

You might think what does the GPU driver have to do with Ryzen master? My guess is as good as yours.

I deleted my Adrenaline, reinstalled it, clicked on factory reset and after installation and PC reboot.

RYZEN MASTER WORKS!

Thanks just tripped mine. Changed my power limits in bios and it quit working. Don’t use the cpu auto oc in adrenaline. It changed power limits and scaler in bios. Set ppt to 395 and scaler to x10.

This usually happens when an incompatible version of the Ryzen Master Driver is installed. On my system leaving the "AMD User Experience Program" (under preferences) fixes the issue with the Adrenalin drivers. Why they install a driver version that breaks their own software, I do not know.

i already posted this on another post, but copying and pasting it to other posts. if the regedit fix doesn't work, and you have a Gigabyte board and installed any of their software, read on. Figured it out on my end. i have a gigabyte B550 AORUS PRO (rev. 1.0) using BIOS v F13g with a R5 5600x CPU the fix was uninstalling the "EasyTune" BUT!!!... when normally uninstalling this it, doesn't uninstall everything related to it as another service is installed separately, think it was called easytune services or tuneservices or something like that. noticed it since i use CCleaner(free) to uninstall stuff. so once i uninstalled THAT service after uninstalling easytune, ran ryzen master right after and it loaded just fine. hope this helps everyone.

EDIT: The issue is fixed now thanks to u/EntryLevelDeveloper, in regedit head over to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\AMDRyzenMasterDriverV13 and delete the folder. Make sure to uninstall ryzenmaster before you do this and reinstall after, reboot your system and you should be good to go. To open registry editor type regedit in windows search.
