How to Properly Position Your Phone on a Wireless Charger?
To charge your phone, you'll have to place it on either a charging pad or a charging stand, depending on the charger's design. It's worthwhile to note that when using a charging pad, you should position your phone in the center facing upwards to ensure optimal charging.   If you're using a charging stand, it's important to align your phone correctly with the stand so that it charges efficiently. The newest deal at Costco, a Qi2 3 in 1 Cube at Costco for 79.99. Includes wall charger and cable.

Picked up the original cube on prime day for $112 which was still pretty pricey. Just picked this one up at costco for $79.99. Comparison: The one from costco has qi2 The costco one looks much sleeker and the color is darker The build quality of the two are pretty much the same The weights are unnoticeably different in my opinion The watch charger on both are retractable but I did find the costco one to be better. I have to push in the original one a few times before it clicks back into place. Overall, a newer model and cheaper?!? Get it

Just bought it today to test drive. As usual, Costco offers a significant discount due to their 14% markup limit. Model is stated B25M5. If not posted here, it includes a non-folding 40W charger, not the 30W charger that the model on Amazon includes. Slightly different (improved?) Watch pop-out shelf. Cube weighs 432 grams. Solid. Soft rubber bottom. Gets warm with three things charging. The phone MagSafe shelf magnet is quite firm, grabs and holds my iPhone 14 Plus (in Apple MagSafe Leather case) and nude 13 Mini firmly, at any angle. I like that it's stable, the Aulumu M01 (which I snagged at $80) has to be fully upright to hold the 14 Plus' weight. (Edit: I noticed with the 14 Plus that the cube is a little "forward heavy" but doesn't tip over itself. You can put a phone on the MagSafe shelf folded down, and a Watch still fits in the popout Watch shelf.) The Watch shelf comes out enough for a 41mm Watch with no case, but then can be pulled out to accommodate a larger size. Not sure how well it accommodates an Ultra. Some Costco reviewers are complaining that it didn't charge enough. Numbskull probably didn't use a 40W or better charger. Another reviewer said it didn't hold their iPhone through their case; geez is it that mysterious that you have to use a MagSafe case? (If your case isn't MagSafe, you can fold the phone charger flat.) The AirPod charger pad does not have any magnets. (Yes, I looked with a magnet display sheet.) Watch charging shelf does. Does not include a manual though the online description states that it does. 🤔 Came here looking for the manual from Anker, don't want to tear the whole package open yet. I've plugged the cube into an Anker 525 power brick putting out ~45W, and an Amazon Basics charger putting out 60W, both worked well with three things slow charging. (Edit: the Costco package has no manual in it. 😞 ) My only "wish" is that it had a little USB-C out option like the Aulumu M01's 10W USB-C OUT port, which is handy for another Watch charger (his 'n hers?) or other charger. Hope this helps. Here's a page on Anker's site comparing the two (not entirely sure the MagGo 3-in-1 Charging Station with Qi2 is exactly Costco's model).

r/anker on Reddit: Anker (and other) Qi2-Powerbanks: Charging comparisons
October 17, 2024 -

Hello everyone,

for my own little Subreddit ChargingSheet I do test everything around Charging. Charger, Powerbanks, wired, wireless etc. Since I did test a few Qi2 power banks now I'd like to share some results, especially for Charging performance, you might be interested in.

All data is from my little sheet here.

What I do:
I use my iPhone 15 Pro as a reference. I usually charge my phone within the 20-80% and that's precisely the range I used for testings. I always make sure, that my phone is cooled. I don't use a case through testing. I don't use the phone at all through testing and I make sure, that the room temperature is always the same. Same conditions for every test.

Here are my results for:
Anker, MagGo, Qi2, 6.600mah, (A1643)
Anker, MagGo, Qi2, 10.000mah, (A1654)
Anker, MagGo, Slim, Qi2, 10.000mah, (A1664)
Baseus, AirPow, Qi2, 10.000mah
iWalk, Qi2, 10.000mah, (MXB010)
Ugreen, Nexode, Qi2, 10.000mah, (PB761)

Some Qi power banks for reference:

Apple MagSafe Battery Pack
Baseus, MagSafe, 6.000mah, PPCXM06A)

The Anker MagGo Slim is currently the best Qi2-Powerbank in my opinion. Not only does it offer great Qi2 Charging speeds. It has fantastic build quality, 30W in and out and fits perfectly on my iPhone 15 Pro. However it's pricey. A great alternative is the iWalk. It costs the half, offers decent Qi2 Charging speeds and is very versatile with 30W in and output, an attachable and removable USB-C cable, high PPS and UFCS support and battery percentage. It's bulkier though. Both older Anker Qi2 power banks are bulkier too, the Charging speed from the 6.600 mAh model how ever is unmatched. The design is not for everyone and the model is more niche, but the Charging speed is fantastic. I repeated the testings a few times to make sure everything was legit.

Not every Qi2-Powerbank is great. The Baseus has great Charging speeds, but everything else is pretty lacklustre. Cheap build quality, super slow Charging (4h until full). The Ugreen however is better than the Baseus in every regards, but it overheats pretty quickly and is slower than some Qi1 power banks.

I published some lengthy reviews on most models on the Subreddit. They are in German however.

I hope it helps!

r/iphone on Reddit: Has anyone already tried wireless Qi2 25W charging stations (3 in 1) from Anker or Belkin?
October 3, 2025 -

I bought these two on Amazon to try them out:

Both rather expensive, but I thought Anker's stand would be more sturdy than Belkin's, especially when it comes to phone's mount. 17 Pro Max wobbles a lot on Anker's station, regardless of the angle, whenever I use it on the mount with one finger. On Belkin's, it's a bit better but one still has to hold the base when taking the phone off the mount.

Surprisingly, Anker's rating is a bit higher on Amazon. I'm thinking of returning Anker and keeping Belkin.

Anker Qi2 charger hands-on: MagSafe charge rates at lower prices. | The Verge
January 9, 2024 - The three-in-one comes with a 40W AC adapter; according to the specs, it can output up to 15W via Qi2 and 5W each from the Apple Watch and Qi chargers. Anker’s eight-in-one charger looks deceptively sedate without anything plugged into the back.
