Apple account and iPhone locked to owner
Apple ID question
I keep receiving emails from [email protected], is this actually apple or a phishing email?
A quick search of my email shows that all confirmation emails relating to my AppleID sent at appropriate times (i.e. after I change my password) are from [email protected].
If you are wary, simply visit http://appleid.apple.com/ directly (instead of clicking on links in the email) to change your AppleID password.

Hi all, my elderly father in law is having this issue. The phone and account are both his.
I found a password of his that gets us past the account login screen, but after that it says the account is locked. I initiated steps to recover it using a phone number as well as an email. I’ve gotten emails back that state someone from Apple will call at a certain time but it has never happened.
This has been going on for weeks and I’m at a loss for how to proceed. Is there better way to get in touch with support at Apple or get a response?
Hey guys, my media and purchases have been disabled on my Apple ID and when I contacted support they said it is permanently disabled and I need to create a new one if I want to be able to buy stuff and download apps.
My question is how do I transfer all of my info from this Apple ID/iPhone to the new one without losing anything?
I don’t have a PC at the moment either so I’m gonna have to rely on my own storage on my iPhone which is 128gb but I don’t have that many pictures or anything yet this phone is only a few months old.
