I had turned it off and Apple Pay was not working from the Watch, I thought due to 8.1. I turned AssistiveTouch back on then turned OFF the “Confirm With AssistiveTouch”, then turned off AssistiveTouch, and the ApplePay worked again, showing the “Hold Near Reader” when you double tap the side button.

I updated to OS 11, and my Apple Pay stopped working. I can see my payment card on my screen but it does not interact with the tap function of the cash register.
I double tap the side to display the card - it says to "Hold Near Reader" and nothing happens when I hold it near the reader.
I've searched online for a solution and I'm only finding information for the card not being loaded into Wallet - my card is there. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
