There is no option to forget network. If I select a neighbor’s WiFi it does prompt to enter a password. When I select my network I just get the error message “there was a problem connecting to the network. The Wi-Fi password you entered is not correct. Try again (-100)”.

its your password. thats why it says its wrong. try rebooting your router.

It lost its connection over your vacay? Anyone stay at your house? Try unplugging / plugging back in and see if it connects. If not, double check your password with another device (forget wifi, reconnect, enter what you think the password is).

I've tried resetting, restarting, ethernet, wifi and the device is around 2 hours old. Updated to latest software but whenever I click any app it just says I gotta check internet connection. And in network it all works, the router isn't the problem because all my other devices work splendidly.

On the ATV, go to Settings > Network. What do you see? Is it Ethernet or WiFi connection? If you have an Ethernet port, try a wired connection and see if you have the same experience, You might just need to unplug the power cable to the ATV, wait 15 secs and then plug it back in. Then check to see if you have a recognized internet connection. Make sure the power cord is plugged in properly into the ATV. Does your internet connection hardware recognize the ATV is on the network?

If it was me, I would see what happens if I connect the Apple TV to my phone’s WiFi hot spot. If it does, the issue could be the router and require troubleshooting there.
