Yes you'll be fine. When dealing with amd it's simple. If the socket, in this case "AM4" matches you're good to make the swap. Gets more complicated with Intel and chipsets. But yes your. Cpu, gpu, and RAM should all be fine, just be sure to update to the latest bios.

Is the QVL for SSD and M.2 SSD drives current and exclusive? I want to look at a 2T M.2 SSD, but there are only 2 total 2T SSDs supposedly supported. I would like to know if the Crosshair VIII Wi-Fi supports WD Blue 3D NAND SATA SSD M.2 2T OR NVMe or other versions of M.2 models.
Checking the Asus website, it states the ZP2000GM3A002-2TB (FireCuda 520 SSD) is supported, but I have a mp600 1T, and a Sabrent 1T pcie 4.0 drive in mine. The Sabrent works fine even though there is no stated support. clock speeds are almost identical on both drives, after both firmwares were updated to the latest and greatest.

I bought this motherboard that said built in wifi but I cannot find any sign that there is wifi or a place for an adapter. When I boot my windows for the first time there is no sign of any wifi drivers or anything listed in network adapters. Am I stuck with Ethernet?

I have an ASUS ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) that the BIOS is six versions behind, and my question is: Can I simply bring it up to date with the current version and skip the ones in between?
Or do I need to install one at a time to make it current?
Edit: I know it's a shame to let it go so long, but I'm 62 with heart/kidney problems and diabetic. I'm in and out of the hospital and completely forgot about bios updates.

Keep in mind that all of your settings are going away. Even if you have saved profiles, those will be gone. If you have any custom settings, or your memory settings properly set, then you'll have to go back in and do those. Also, not sure how long it's been for you, but they also removed the ability to download the bios updates directly through the bios, so put it on a flash drive before you go in. Flash it and you'll be good. I have this exact motherboard.
