Finally cleared SAA-C03 exam with 935/1000. My company has sponsered me for this certification. I spent around 20$ for Skillcertpro practice tests. Pretty close to actual exam. Nearly 80% were from these sets. they always add new questions bi weekly there are good amount of questions. Do all of them and review all explanations. it will help you gain condidence and knowledge. If time persists attempt each set twice  and take some notes. The udemy classes simply don't cover everything on the test. I've done a+, network+, vcp, aws cloud practitioner, aws solutions architect and aws security specialty. The pattern is always the same. You watch some 40-50 hour long course. You then find out that a large chunk of questions is just nit picked nuances that the videos never covered. Without looking at practice tests you have no way of knowing what will be on there. The videos are usually just broad overviews while the test goes over very specific details. And because there are millions of things for them to choose from its almost impossible to know what to study without doing practice exams. More on reddit.com

The point of the practice exams is to exactly highlight areas that you are weak on. You need to go through the docs on those (usually TD provides detailed notes + links to docs) and that is what will prepare you for the main exam. Questions like "If I get 70%+ in 2 TD exams - will I pass the main exam?" is not really helpful in anyway as there is no easy correlation and on the exam you also get unscored questions (used for future exams). A pass on TD does not mean you will pass main exam or otherwise - we should stop trying to use TD exams as proxy metric. If you feel you have been through the areas you are weak in - THEN you can consider yourself ready. I would say - go ahead and book the exam (you can reschedule upto 24 hrs in advance) but keep practicising but ignore pass % and focus on areas you are not familiar with. More on reddit.com

This is not how to look at practice exams. Every person's real exam is drawn from a large batch of ever changing list of questions. Someone may have got questions from a bank that is "easier" and another that they found "harder". It is all subjective and not worth the comparison. what you REALLY need to do is work on the incorrect answers. So you got 60% right. That may have 10% guessed answers and you should focus on each incorrect answer and see "what did I read wrong on the question. or on the answer. " and then dig through docs / other reading material to fix that knowledge. This mechanism of going back and looking at areas where you are not clear is what will boost your final exam score as you are now learning exam technique in spotting distractors, understanding how things work within AWS services and building domain knowledge.
