I have 20y old Delta faucets that are fairly nice. If you install them yourself I found Kohler products to be real easy to work with. Moen is comparably cheap and I have them in the guest bathroom and they do feel cheap, too.

February 2, 2010 - I considered Kohler single-hole faucet but I think these single hole faucets need a solid base (I am using 1/2" solid surface) that needs to be built up to 1". I am saying this having installed Kohler single hole kitchen faucet on a stainless basin and the faucet just did not feel solidly based. The stainless basin's sheetmetal flexed just little enough to give me that feeling. I also imagine someone slipping in the bathroom and grabbing the faucet and breaking the top.

June 1, 2024 - Just changing the faucet should not bother the drain, but if you feel better by changing it, so as RJ says with PVC. The Vensa is a nice faucet. It will depend on what your other valves have, like tub/shower.
