I have a Corsair RM1000x 2024 PSU which I got a couple of months ago and I'm very happy with it. It's Cybernetics Platinum rated, ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 compliant and quiet. The cables are braided with integrated cable combs on the GPU and motherboard cables to help keep the visible parts tidy. It has a knob on the back for manual override of the zero rpm mode if you wanted to do that. It has 4x SATA cables for plenty of drives and 4x 8-pin PCIe cables if you needed them for power hungry accessories or wanted to change the GPU in a few years to something that uses them instead of the 12V-2x6 cable. Trying to find the best 1000w power supply for my build, I know 1000w is a bit overkill but I’d like a future proof it in case I need to upgrade.
The main one I’m looking on is be quiet dark power 13 1000w BN661 since it seems to get high ratings from anywhere I look, but I would love to hear some suggestions. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

it is a top-tier quality PSU which is reflected by the price. A Straight power 1000w platinum is still massive overkill for this build. You only need a 750w PSU for this build TBH. 850w would be enough for future upgrades for a 500w+ card

Your 1000W PSU doesn't mean it's pulling 1000W all the time, it means it can supply up to 1000W. Your PC will pull as much power as it needs to perform whatever task you are trying to do. As such, it's impossible for us to tell you how much power you need, because we don't know what PC you have and what you are doing with it.
