I'm planning to close on a place most likely in mid to late June. I'm thinking the best time to buy appliances is around Memorial Day to take advantage of any sales. Is it possible to schedule appliance delivery up to a month after the purchase? Or do you have to take the first available slot? Right now on the checkout page it just says things like "Available April 8th at earliest" but doesn't give the ability to choose a time.

You can push deliveries for a while, gotta be careful though that if they get discontinued or out of stock and they come damaged you will need to select different units.

If you absolutely have to have the appliances upon move in, get them delivered asap. Future delivery dates are based on anticipated stock, the DDC does not "reserve" a unit and hold it until delivery. With supply chain issues, you could find your appliances on backorder or delayed on a future date.

I ordered a dishwasher two weeks ago. Still haven't got it running. They delivered it today and the installation will be next Saturday. They told me that the delivery people could come from 7 am to 7 pm. Why is that such a big time range? So my only option is to get it on Saturday as I have 9 to 5 work.

Usually they will call you the day before or the morning of to narrow the window down. 7am-7pm are the business hours for delivery.

Return your purchase and buy from somewhere else. We have been given 4 6 hour delivery install windows over the last 2 months and We have yet to receive our TV. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Unless you can haul your large appliances and TV on your truck, go somewhere that will actually respect your time and keep thier promise

I had an installation scheduled and Best Buy completely blew the appointment with no prior notice. I had to call them to find out it was in-transit. Every time you call, it is someone else’s fault. Don’t waste your time here. Plenty of better options out there.
