So my tech supposedly scheduled me for a remote start installation on the 25th, but BestBuy has no record of the appointment. The BestBuy telephone dead-end does everything possible to prevent people from reaching human beings at their stores. The national operators can't find the appointment, and can't route me to the install bay so I can get it straightened out. The store is 90 minutes away so I don't want to waste time and gas money going there just to confirm this or go there and find out the appointment was never entered.
How can I reach my store's tech to get this straightened out before it is too late?
I’m planning to install an aftermarket car radio in my 2017 Honda Accord. The unit I ordered just arrived today, and I tried installing it myself, but I don’t have the proper tools, so I’m thinking about getting it installed at Best Buy.
On their website, I see a service called "In-Dash Car Stereo Installation" for $130. Is this the right service for installing an aftermarket head unit? Has anyone used Best Buy for this kind of installation before?
Also, how do I make an appointment for the installation? Can I book it online, or do I need to call or visit a store?
Does Best Buy no longer offer car stereo receiver installations (paid or included with stereo purchase)? I've been wanting to upgrade my old car's stereo unit and now that I'm ready to buy, I see "installation may be available, but you'll need to choose a different store location" and no location near 250 miles around me seem to offer it. For reference, I was looking to buy a Sony unit with Apple CarPlay SKU: 6480147
