Sorry if this has been flogged to death, but I figure it’s good to keep the discussion up-to-date!
I’ve recently picked up a 14700k and I’m wondering which motherboards are the way to go, or rather, which ones to avoid. Eyeing off the Z790 chipset.
Budget is $500 AUD, but would prefer not to spend any more than I have to.
Thanks in advance.
What is the best motherboard there supports the 14th gen intel processors that I can buy right now for the features vs the price?
Question - Which motherboard should I go with for my i7-14700 CPU ? | Tom's Hardware Forum
what motherboard should i pair with i7 14700k
What is a good mobo for i7-14700kf? (10k-20k budget)
What motherboard to get with 14700K?
Does i7-14700K support DDR5?
What socket does the i7-14700K use?
I’m thinking a board that is z790. But interested in the opinions on the best overall value price wise vs features that are out there. I’m migrating from a 6th gen i7 laptop with a mobile 1070gtx gpu. I can’t afford the whole setup atm but want to snag the 14th gen motherboard and gpu and a 13th or 12th gen cpu during the Black Friday sales. I’ll grab the gpu later or something super cheap like a 3060 in the interim. I figure getting the 14th gen capable mobo that is backward compatible with the 12th and 13th gen cpus will give me the best upgrade path capable build.
my budget is
Rs 25000
USD 300
i "think" asus is better in terms of motherboard
