St. Vinny’s on 108th and in Waukesha have a good selection of clean furniture. There’s a secondhand furniture store called Optimist’s Bazaar in Tosa, off Bluemound and Mayfair rd. The shop is larger than it looks from the outside, and the prices decrease the longer they sit. Otherwise I second hitting the area Restores. I like Spectre Vintage too, as I feel they have reasonable pricing for quality vintage pieces.

My partner and I are moving and expecting a baby soon and we are trying to get our new place furnished. We are starting with just a few basics and getting everything else is looking very expensive. I have seen some good options on Facebook marketplace but would love to know where else to check out!
We would prefer to purchase a bed new and probably a couch and recliner/glider new as well, but open to a lightly used couch and recliner/glider from a trusted source.
Everything else (table, chairs, dresser, shelves) we are happy to buy used.
Any recommendations of where to check out on a pretty tight budget? Are there any good secondhand furniture stores in the area?

Join a buy nothing page on Facebook. I've seen people give away full dining room sets, couches, tvs, sheets, clothes, food, all types of furniture, pretty much everything and anything for free. Otherwise check out Habit for Humanity's Restores, there are a few around. There are also some very nice St. Vincent DePaul stores that have furniture. If you don't mind a drive, the one in Pewaukee, West Bend, and Slinger are pretty big. If you find their page on Facebook, they post pictures of their new stuff almost every day. Good luck! ReStore is fantastic and you’ll find much higher quality and better looking pieces than at 90% of stores at a very small fraction of the price. I’m not a person that buys upholstered stuff resale, for that to throw a new name into the ring - check out what Costco has.

Try Bob’s Discount Furniture. They have a clearance section in the back with some really good deals. I got a couch delivered from them last month- really nice big sectional for $800 which was way below what we were expecting to pay. Got delivery set up super quick for another I think $100. We also bought an end table for $100 that is super nice and best of all- already put together.
