Does the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus need a case?
As with any of the best Android phones, we recommend equipping the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus with a dependable case.
None of the best phones is impervious to damage that might occur through everyday use, be it an accidental drop that cracks the screen or an unfortunate incident with car keys. This damage is not only unsightly, but it can also impact the phone's functionality.
Repairing any phone can be costly and an unexpected hassle, making investing in a solid phone case a wise choice to protect the device's longevity. Likewise, a screen protector is worthwhile for extending your phone's lifespan. See our guide to the best Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus screen protectors for top options.
What should I look for in a Galaxy S25 Plus case?
When looking for a case for the Galaxy S25 Plus or any of the best Samsung phones, focus on options that provide lasting protection, functionality, and a style that suits your preferences.
You may want to look for cases that provide extra convenience factors, such as a built-in kickstand, an antimicrobial coating, or integrated magnets to take advantage of the Galaxy S25 series' new compatibility with Qi2 magnetic wireless charging.
It is also worth considering any potential trade-offs you might experience with a case. Some cases impact functionality, such as not being compatible with standard wireless charging because they're too thick.
Will a Galaxy S24 Plus case fit the Galaxy S25 Plus?
Due to very slight year-over-year differences in dimensions and design components, a Galaxy S24 Plus case will not properly fit the Galaxy S25 Plus, and vice versa.
Pre-orders are coming in so I'm curious what cases would you all be looking to get for your phones?
I'm currently using a Mous Limitless for my S24+ and am on the fence about reusing it for my S25+. Anyone else?
Can't find any nice case I would like so I guess I will go with the boring clear one just to show off the colour of the phone.
Recently I didn't use any case as my S21 had a plastic back so I decided to take the risk.
With my previous phones I usually used Ultra Hybrid case from Spigen but I see Samsung this year has their own clear case with magsafe.
Do you have any experience with Samsung's clear cases? I prefer Samsung's design (the frame around camera lenses looks better imo) but I feel like Spigen might offer better protection.
Got it off Amazon for much cheaper than the official site. This is the first time I have ever had any magsafe so I also got this phone grip from ESR. The magnets on this case are much stronger than I anticipated.
