As the title says. No subwoofer because I’m in an apartment. Will be used for TV only. My only real requirement is HDMI/ARC. THANKS!!!!

I’m looking to buy a soundbar for my living room in my townhome, but I’m trying to figure out which one to get. I’ve read good things about Sonos and the flexus core, but im trying to see if there’s any other suggestions? A soundbar without an external sub would be nice but I’m open to suggestions. Budget is 500.

I am looking to invest in an audio setup to enhance the audio of my OLED TV (LG C1).

I am somewhat demanding in terms of audio and music listening so I am willing to go for a quality product (up to $1000-ish).

The problem: I live in an apartment and I don't want to bother the neighbors below. I will probably have to disable (or severely diminish) the subwoofer component.

I know the sub is mostly used for sound effects in movies, and I can do without this until I move to a different place.

The question: Is it worth going for a mid/high end soundbar if the sub is not going to be used? I care for immersive surround sound with a normal amount of low-end, as well as music listening.
