I am totally new to VPNs and don't want to pay for one as I won't use it that often.
Any advice is much appreciated.

Looking for some good VPN extensions that are free with Firefox. Anyone know any?
I'm looking for a good free VPN.
Can anyone recommend a free vpn i can turn off and on and is similar to Browsec- Vpn where i can turn it off and on at will and add multiple smartlists browsec only lets me add one smart list and i need multiple please and thanks
thank u broswer sec allows me to play the games on site but only allows one site to be smartlisted and work even when vpn is off i can still use the site thanks to smartlisting but i have anothe site that would benefit from the smartlist also so im looking for another vpn thats free and has the same level of smartlisting thats free
A while back someone suggested Hola, however, suggested it was a rather suspect service. I don't know any of the more intricate details.
Others suggested to simply use another browser such as Opera which contains a free VPN for the sites where a VPN was required, but that seems like a crazy resource heavy solution and not very practical.
Would downloading a VPN be better rather than an extension? I don't really have any desktop applications where a VPN would be necessary.
I've been testing out different VPN Chrome extensions for browsing and streaming, and I'm trying to find one that's both fast and secure. Some of the free ones feel super sketchy, and others just kill my internet speed completely.
I'm open to paying for one if it's worth it. Just want something that works well for everyday use, unblocks streaming sites, and doesn't constantly disconnect.
Anyone here have a favorite VPN Chrome extension they use?
The VPN Chrome addon sounds like a simple method to boost my online security and privacy while browsing. Since I mostly use Chrome online, it seems convenient. Has anyone used Chrome VPN extensions? Are they as safe as a solo VPN app? I want something easy to use, fast, and confidential for my online activity. Can anyone recommend an excellent Chrome VPN extension?
Hello!
I'm looking for a Firefox browser VPN to change my IP address. I'm willing to pay for a good VPN, but I'd prefer one that offers a free version or trial so I can test it out beforehand. I've already tried ZenMate and Sand VPN, but wasn't satisfied with their performance. Any recommendations?
Thanks!

Hey guys, anyone using VPN extension for chrome currently? What are the best options in your opinion?
I want something that doesn't slow down browsing too much. Are the free options THAT bad or are there some decent ones? Appreciate your help!
I’ve been using my Chromebook more often for classes and everyday browsing, so I was looking for a VPN that works smoothly as a browser extension instead of installing a full application. I tried a few from the Chrome Web Store, but most of them were either full of ads or slowed everything down to the point where pages barely loaded. After checking some discussions online, I saw a lot of people mentioning Windscribe, so I decided to give its Chrome extension a try.
So far, it’s been working really well. The free version lets me pick different regions to connect through, and sites like YouTube and Reddit run normally. I also tested it on my campus network and it handled the site blocks without any trouble. The 10GB monthly limit after verifying my email has been enough for everyday use, and the connection still feels steady compared to a lot of the “unlimited free” extensions that look questionable.
Is Windscribe still what most people recommend for Chromebook users? Or is there another free Chrome extension that works just as well without needing to install a full VPN client? I’d like to see if there’s anything else worth trying.
