Yest its thin but I expected that with a washable rug. Id say dont hesitate if you want a lovely Persian-like rug on a budget. Karolina. Valley Center, CA. Thu Nov 06 2025 ... This handwoven area rug sets a foundation for your living room with an ombre design and farmhouse style. It's handmade from polypropylene, and it features a braided pattern in dark gray and light gray hues. We love how this rug's 0.31" pile height makes it easy to vacuum when it comes time for a pick-me-up. Best of all, this rug is stain-resistant, allowing it to hold up to the occasional spill and splash.

r/HomeDecorating on Reddit: Washable rugs..Are there any good ones out there?!
July 31, 2024 -
I’ve newly discovered the world of washable rugs only to not find any with good recommendations? I’m not looking for anything fancy, just something that can be thrown in the washing machine and won’t get sucked up by my vacuum. I’d be getting a 5x7 or even 5x6 if I can find it. I’ve seen Ruggable and Tumble Rugs but seem to only be seeing the bad reviews. I see that Amazon has some but again, more bad reviews than good. So I’m hopeful that Reddit can help me narrow down at least where I should buy one.

I have the largest ruggable and I run it through the washer every 4 months. It’s fine, but a pain to set back in place.

I have a Tumble rug. It will get sucked up by a vacuum though unless you have a low suction sweeper. Mine is flat with a print, not plush. But that said I really like it and it’s easy to pop in the washer and lay back out because the back doesn’t stick to the rug pad. It’s held on by pockets at the corners. We picked a Tumble over Ruggable because of the ease of putting it down on the rug pad.
