r/words on Reddit: Drug slang
October 18, 2019 -
I'm trying to translate some texts that have to do with drug use and I'm surprised that I cannot find the slang words in English for:
-
The depression people feel when the drug stops making effect, or when they need more drug to keep going. Do you know any slang words for this phenomenon? In Spanish we have "angustia" (angst) and variations: angurri, angurriento, angus.
-
The phenomenon of being too high that you start having a panic attack and your skin goes white. In Spanish is to have "the pale" ("la pálida") or "to go on the pale". Do you know the correct slang for this in English?
Any help is great. Thanks a lot!
