Please be mindful that Canva doesn’t provide any guarantee that the content you generate is cleared for use (particularly if the output reproduces text and images from existing works). If you're going to use the output for any commercial purpose (e.g., selling a book written partly by Magic Write), seeking legal advice may be a good idea.

With Magic Design, you can craft a selection of personalized and on-brand designs just for you. Use Magic Design to create presentations, posters, cards, flyers, invitations (square), business cards, postcards, documents, and social media designs (Instagram posts, stories, Facebook posts, Facebook covers, Pinterest pins, YouTube thumbnails, YouTube banners, and X/Twitter posts).

You can also use Magic Design for Video to create social media videos like Instagram reels or TikTok videos and other videos that are 1920 x 1080px (horizontal), 1080 x 1920px (vertical), or 1080 x 1080 (square) in size. Learn more about using Magic Design to create videos.

Access to Magic Design is included in Canva Pro, NFP, and Education accounts. If you’re an administrator, teacher, or brand designer, you can choose who can access Magic Design in your team or class. Learn how to change your teams’ access to Magic Features. In addition, Magic Design for Video isn’t available for students using Canva for Education. Teachers can access the feature, but can’t grant access to students.

Accounts on a Canva Free plan have limited Magic Design uses including Magic Design for Presentation and Magic Design for Video. The usage will be counted when a template is applied to the editor or when you click Generate for Magic Design for Video. Also note that during those generations, if a presentation/video/design uses Pro assets, users will need to upgrade to a Canva Pro account or purchase each element separately.
