I was hoping there is a simple fix for this? I'd like to change my sons "adult Apple ID account" to a "child account" & possibly fix Family Sharing.
When I got iPhones for us 2-3 years ago, we all created our Apple IDs. However, I inflated my sons birthday, he's currently 12 years old but I entered 1980 something as birthday.
Currently our Family Sharing is:
-
(Me - Organizer
-
(Wife) - Parent/Guardian
-
(Son) - Adult - Need to change to child
He had a very old iPad & the original iPhone SE. I Just got him the latest iPad Air & iPhone SE. How can I fix this & turn my sons "adult" account to child's account before I got ahead and activate his new iPhone & iPad?
I got my Ipad when I was around 8 and my mom sighted me on to her Apple ID and I’ve had new iPads since then but I’ve always kept my data and stayed on her ID. I got a phone when I was 13, and I created a new apple ID for myself. Now, I’m 16 and me and my mom both want to switch my Apple ID on my iPad to the one on my phone, but I also don’t want to lose all my apps and photos. Is there a way to switch Apple IDs but avoid this?
