How do I get started with a J.P. Morgan Private Client Advisor?
What do I get with a J.P. Morgan Private Client Advisor?
How do I find a J.P. Morgan Private Client Advisor?
^^^^ Title is all you really need to know^^^^
Been on the phone today for three hours resolving an issue that Chase *caused*.
Three days ago Chase called *me* from a number, 888 373 1969, which I could not verify was a Chase number.
I didn't answer but called them back via the customer service number because I *do* have an open claim.
No one in the claim dept or the fraud dept could verify if this was a real chase number because they don't have access to their *own* companies phonebook.
Turns out, they wanted more information on a claim I filed.
It was a chargeback for a catalog purchase.
When I made the claim I gave them the tracking number so they could verify that the item was returned.
They wanted *me* to tell them if the seller had received the return.
I gave them the tracking number when I made the claim, they can see that the item was returned to the seller on their end, without calling me. But, OK, glad I could do their job for them.
Jump forward two days, they called me again, at 8AM, to verify that the seller received the return.
Really?!?!?!? They have the tracking number and I had already tracked it *for them* on the above call.
So I put on my Karen capris and called my private client representative to make a complaint about having to spend nearly three hours on the phone trying to determine if I was being scammed and so I could give them information they already had. Today is a holiday, which the private client agent kept reminding me of like it was an inconvenience for them, I kept reminding them that *they called me*.
Guess what?
The private client agent couldn't record the complaint because I already have a open claim, the chargeback above. She was professional and did try several different things, but the option to open an additional ticket was simply not available to her.
What is the point of being a private client member if they literally cannot perform the services that they advertise???
Im considering moving to a different bank.
Suggestions?
TLDR-how do I know if I'm a "Chase Private Client"/if I am not, why are they contacting me?
I've had a Chase checking account since college, and recently opened up a new Total Checking account at a local branch. While I was there they gave me a silver pen that said Chase Private Client on it but didn't actually explain anything about it. Today I got a call from someone saying they were with Chase providing support for Chase Private Clients basically just checking in to see if I needed anything. That got me curious so I looked up the requirements and it's a daily average of $100-150k in Chase accounts which I definitely do not have (interest rate is too low, I just have the checking account for expenses).
So what's the deal with them calling me, are they just trying to pull me into the program or maybe just being nice? They never asked me to open a CPC account or anything. I almost thought the guy calling was some scam but he already knew my email address and just sent me a "Nice to chat with you" email. If I already am a "private client", how can I tell (apart from looking at my fancy pen, of course). It's not in my profile from what I could see thru the mobile banking app. I'm kind of confused! Thanks in advance!
