A couple of options: A. Search for refurbished TVs (or open box) online - Though they typically have a shorter warranty, sometimes that will have full warranty. The savings can be substantial. B. If you are in United States, many people will be upgrading their TVs during tax return season (Feb. 15 - March 15 is a hot time). Craigslist, Facebook, and pawn shops usually see an uptick in selling of "old" TVs. The newer TVs usually hit the the pawn shops in early April once the money is gone. More on reddit.com
