I started a new business & for that I want to create a simple website like portfolio. I don't have high budget for website development. I can pay $5 per month.
Please recommend me some best & cheap website builders for small business.
Hello!! I am an artist who is looking to expand beyond twitter commissions and i would love to have a website with a newsletter.
Im looking into options right now, and i was wondering if anyone here knows what the best combination of cheap domain + a business email + website builder is?
Im currently using carrd (free) for my site. i could upgrade to pro for $19/year, buy a domain and connect it to carrd and get a business email to use Sender (generous free plan) to start a newsletter, im missing a few puzzle pieces, or if anyone knows a better way to do this please let me know! thank you :)
Most of the websites I’m seeing (Shopify, squarespace, Wordpress) seem to be about $25 per month. Has anyone found anything cheaper? I would like to do sales through the website. I have a small woodworking business and I’m not sure if it would be worth it for me to pay 25 bucks a month. I also don’t have an issue with creating it all from scratch if that is a possibility.
I want to make website for freelance startup and also i want to make website like blog to help people and make them more aware about their respiratory disease and how to live with like and share their story and support for each other

Hola mi amigos,
I am looking for some input on designing a website and paying for a domain name. I would like the budget to be $5-20 a month max. (New start up)
Any suggestions ? I was looking at godaddy briefly but would appreciate some personal opinions. I currently have the google my business free website but am not happy with it....
No to everything other people are recommending.
You’re not a web expert, and that’s okay. You need something easy to use, affordable, and beautiful.
My recommendation is to go with Squarespace. It will offer everything you need. And you can purchase s domain name through Squarespace so you don’t have figure out the complexities of DNS and other nerd stuff.
Good luck
I would go with a quick template based site like Wix or Weebly. I am biased toward WordPress, but if you aren’t knowledgeable about it then it can cost some decent money to have it developed.
A lot of you effort will be put into developing good content and molding the client journey. Once that is done it is mostly just design and layout.
Hey, I’m trying to build a personal portfolio and I’m looking for a good free website builder to use. Nothing super complicated, just something clean, easy to use, and hopefully doesn’t hit me with upgrade prompts every 5 minutes.
If you’ve used https://durable.co/ or any builder that you liked I would love to hear what worked for you and why. I’m just trying to avoid wasting time jumping from one platform to another.
Just started a small business (s-corp) and wondering what the best/cheapest/easiest way to create a website is. I created the S-corp via LegalZoom, which connected me to Wix, which charges about 14 or 15 a month, but was wondering whether there are any cheaper/free options.
Related to the same, I'd like to create a Gmail account for the business. Does that cost any money? And would any issues arise if I decided to do so and build a website using something other than one of the more mainstream/expensive website builders (e.g. Squarespace or Wix)?
Most of the big names like Webflow and Squarespace are kind of pricey.
Are there any no-code builders that have affordable monthly plans but still look professional?
I’ve seen Hostinger, Durable, and Weebly.
They all seem to look good but I haven’t personally tried any of them.
I just need a homepage, about page, and contact form if I ever pick one.
Which one do you use and why? Help me out. Thanks!
Before suggestions: Yes, I tried Wix but its awful haha
I'm looking to create a simple website for my small business (nothing fancy, just a few pages with info about services, contact details, and maybe a blog).
I'm on a really tight budget and wondering what the most affordable (and good) website builders are.
Been checking out the usual suspects like Wix, Squarespace, and WordPress but damn, their prices seem all over the place compared to last time I looked.
Any hidden gems I should know about?
just need something that looks professional and won't break the bank lol
Some of the cheapest website builders are Wix, Zyro, and Weebly. They offer free plans or very low-cost monthly options. vq.pe also offers website development in just $5 per month.
Do you know any other?
Hello, I'm an 18-year-old trying to start my own business in the beauty/aesthetics industry. I have already made a company Facebook and Instagram to promote myself however, I have been trying (and failing) to find the best place to build my business website... so I have turned to Reddit. Sorry for the long post. I'm just trying to give as much info as possible :)
I have already purchased a domain name as I found a place with a cheap enough price, and the cost to renew wasn't through the roof like so many companies. I first tried to find a free website designer, but none of the ones I found have the ability for me to use my own domain... So, with a heavy heart, I have come to the decision that I must pay for one of the many website builder subscriptions out there! I am trying to find somewhere not overly pricey as I am not yet in the financial situation to just throw money at the wall.
Upon researching, a lot of the more "Budget" (around the £5-£10 range) options for these sites do not include the ability for me to sell my services, they are just for blogs and information-centric pages. As my business is service-based, my want for a website is so my clients can book online on my website and pay a small deposit (pay the full amount the day of). Thus making me turn to the more expensive (£15 plus) options. They are either way out of my budget or are aimed more at those who dropship or sell tangible products. As I am not actually selling a product but a service, all I need is a selling option without all the the shipping extras.
So, I was wondering if anyone on here knows any websites that offer roughly what I am looking for without a completely ridiculous price or a load of shipping options that I simply won't use. Please let me know if you have any ideas; I feel like I am just going around in circles... If you have read this far... Well done, pat on the back... I do hope you enjoyed reading my novel:)
Hey guys, I'm looking to build my own and my first website through WordPress for my small marketing / content creation side hustle I'm running on the side. I am looking to expand it which is why I want to create a website. I've seen Bluehost, and Ionos recommended for simple sites like this.
I just need something affordable that lets me create a drag-and-drop WordPress site, possibly with AI help, and includes a custom domain email. From what I understand, Bluehost offers a 1-month email trial and then you'd have to pay a subscription fee to have that email and gives it for one year then subscription, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
Out of the three, which one would you go with? Or is there something better and even cheaper? Let me know what you’d recommend. Thanks.
What are the best website builders for small businesses? I’m starting a small business and now looking for the best website builders to create my own website. I want it to look professional and also help drive traffic. I plan to build the site myself, so I’m searching for a builder that’s easy to use but flexible enough for future needs.
I’ve been reading about different companies, but it’s confusing. Many seem good at first, but I’ve heard some business owners say that certain website builders don’t work well with HTML, or have limitations because they use drag-and-drop systems. I don’t want to face issues like that later.
I have a few questions:
What is the best website builder for small businesses?
Are there any good free website builders?
Should I go with a custom-built site or use a drag-and-drop builder?
Any website builders you recommend based on personal experience?
Any tips or advice would be super helpful! I want to pick a platform that works well long-term and won’t give me problems once my business grows. Thanks in advance!
Looking for a good free builder just to start, or should I look at paid ones?
I’m currently looking for a website builder that hits the sweet spot between affordability and quality for 2024. Starting up a business, and every penny counts, but I also need my website to look professional and offer the basic functionalities like e-commerce integration, responsive design, and easy content management.
I’ve heard about various options ranging from Wix and Squarespace to WordPress and Webflow, but I’m particularly interested in finding the most cost-effective solution without compromising too much on features.
Does anyone have recommendations for the best and cheapest website builders that have worked well for you? Tips on getting the best value for money or any hidden gems in the market would also be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for helping out!
Hello everyone I'm trying to set up a website for my small restaurant and was wondering what do you think would be the best budget option. I will be building it myself. something like this would be perfect for me, which seems pretty simple. https://www.cabralosangeles.com but I want to spend as little as possible.
Why don't you look at Pixpa? If budget is the main concern, Pixpa offers the best affordable pricing plans without compromising on features such as e-commerce features, in-built SEO tools, and more. Interface is user-friendly, and the drag and drop editor allows you to fully customize templates according to your needs. I honestly enjoyed creating websites on Pixpa. Try out their 15-day trial and see for yourself.
Squarespace! It will allow you to create a website quickly, has good SEO potential, and can link well with third party booking platforms via embedded forms.
I want to create a simple website with basic info about my family's business. I need a website that's easy to use and doesn't require any coding. Any suggestions?
I am not really having domain problems. But I don't have time to learn how to code. I am just a regular person but need a way for people to contact me for commissions. Multi page website with portfolio, contact page, about page.
Because I don't have great tech skills, Preferably something that uses Ai and animations. i want to spend spend max 3-4 days on this thing
would prefferably like if. i can do the hosting, wordpress, domain, all on one platform, my budget is like 50$ a year.
I have come to the conclusion that
"hosting" is the website that provides your website, domain, provides security, promotes, that type of stuff.
"word press" is a website builder? that's what you build and design your website with.
I started a small tutoring service recently and I’m trying to get online without spending a ton. All I really need is a homepage and a booking/contact page.
Looked into Wix and Squarespace but both get expensive fast once you want your own domain or remove ads.
I’ve seen Durable mentioned a couple of times in this sub. Any feedback about it?
Would love to hear what you guys use before I waste hours testing random platforms.
