I know the NSA has internships: http://www.nsa.gov/careers/opportunities_4_u/students/index.shtml I think the deadlines are pretty early for these though, since you need to undergo a background check before they even consider you. :) EDIT: The CIA has internships too ! I want to pursue a career in the federal government, specifically doing work related to intelligence. I have applied to 2 federal agencies so far, however, my resume isn’t that good and I am just trying to get my foot in the door and get a security clearance but I’m sort of lost and don’t know where to start aside from those two agencies I applied for.
Are there any CRIM majors or Intelligence Studies majors or minors who have found internships or have any advice?

The career center has a list of paid co-ops with agencies. Also there is the paid Presidential Managed Internship. Generally for grad students. I did one at OPM. Check the career center out.

I am in the army national guard as an mp and have previous experience as a legal intern have a mid high school gpa go to a mid college with a 3.2 gpa as a freshman studying financial technology and I want an accounting or other finance related internships at the cia would I make it or how competitive is it? Would it help to go on active duty orders to improve my resume?

Very low. Historically the CIA is hired almost exclusively from elite ivy League schools. And most people working at there are not veterans.

Im on a downvote role so ill keep going. How would reddit know the answer to this? I would think gpa is low but no idea what the criteria is to even apply for it.
