This would be hard to achieve because some stores like aldi aren't online and I would need to have stores like dollar general, aldi and save a lot in my base. April 11, 2023Are there any tools that I can use to compare different grocery prices, week to week?
I get most of my groceries from discount stores like Aldi because it's generally cheaper. For household stuff where the brand matters more (at least to me and in my experience), I'll go to one store (say Kroger) where I need to get stuff from anyway and use the Target app on my phone to scan barcodes. If it's cheaper at Target I just add it to the shopping list on the Target app, and if it's cheaper at Kroger I just add it to my physical cart. After I'm done whatever was added to Target I just buy it in the app and it's ready for carside pickup on my way home. More on reddit.com

I used to manually keep track of where I can find the best price per unit for an item on an Excel sheet, but I wanted to know if there's an app/program that automatically tracks which grocery store has the best price for an item if I scan my receipt? Or something along those lines. It's been tedious for me to compare prices and update my own guide, so I haven't been keeping up with it. I've been considering switching from primarily shopping from Sprouts to Trader Joe's, but I believe the decision would be easier to make if I had a sort of price comparison app.
Much love to this subreddit! The tips I've read under other posts have been tremendously helpful, and I'm thankful anyone that write tips for this post too.

I have been searching grocery and personal care prices item by item to compare Kroger to Meijer (this are my only real options). Has anyone found a quicker way they would be willing to share? I could go to Aldi as well. I have looked at some apps to download but most seem pretty sketchy about info gathering or what they actually do. I’m on the NW side of Chicago. Aldi tends to have the best prices unless your bulk buying (although I’ve had some issues with quality), Costco can be a nightmare to get in & out, and Jewel is kinda pricy.
