I am a plumber and I did my whole house with these fittings. These fittings cost a little more but for the time savings I don't even know why I sweat copper anymore. In my experience these feelings have been extremely reliable. Other than it not being a good idea to solder right next to them, there's no disadvantage using these instead of soldering.
