Cub Cadet XT1 LT46 a good buy for the money?
Is this Cub Cadet worth the purchase?
Cub Cadet XT1 LT46 just arrived, is S-Shaped spindle going to be a pain? : lawnmowers
Cub Cadet XT1 Enduro series deck belt keeps coming off after disengaging blades
I have the exact same problem. The new factory belts are a little bit longer than the original that came on the mower. I remember the original coming off 1 or 2 times and it was a little tough to get back on. The “correct” replacement belt slid on no problem and was slightly longer than the warn (original) belt. I’m planning on taking the new belt to the HW store and just trying to find a belt that’s slightly shorter with the same tread. The loose belt makes one of the blades slip during operation.
More on reddit.comMy little 42in Ariens finally kicked the bucket after a decade. I've had 0 problems with it until now. Decided to replace it at this point.
I ordered a Cub Cadet LT46 mostly for the Kohler 7000 and the fact that Home Depot is my only option out here for delivery. I've read all the reviews I could find (mostly by people that have used it a few times).
Can anyone tell me are better or worse than the other choices from HD? I still have a few days to cancel it. I'm kinda freaked out ever since I learned they're owned by MTD. If delivery wasn't an issue I'd have probably got a Husqvarna. Any input from the experts or owners would be greatly appreciated.
Unrelated.. but when did mowers double in price?
Looking at purchasing this Cub Cadet XT1 Enduro Series LT50” for $800. I have just under an acre to cut and the yard is slightly sloped. 50” deck is probably bigger than I need, but honestly I really like the looks of this mower.
Here is the details I was told: Last Oil Change: February 2025 Engine: Kohler 7000 Series 24hp Blades: “New” Battery: “Good” Tires: “Good” “Runs and Cuts perfect.”
Are there any specific questions I should ask?
Are there major issues with this model?
Is it doing too much to have the owner do a couple of passes in his yard with the blades on, so I can make sure the cut is “perfect” like he says?
This is my first time buying a riding lawnmower. We bought a house with a bigger yard and my Greenworks push mower is 8 years old. I just don’t want to make a mistake, as my wife would kill me if I wasted $800 on it.
Thank you
