I have the ztx4 54 and mow three acres. I’ve had no issues with it. Mine has the kohler pro 7000 engine with zt 3100s and I can mow through the thickest grass while going up the grade towards my house and the mower doesn’t miss a beat. My neighbor has the zt 1. He leaves his parked outside when he’s not using it. Left it outside all winter and it fired right up this spring. You’re right, people on this sub don’t normally recommend CC. But for residential purposes, especially with your acreage, that ztx6 will make short work of whatever you throw at it. As with any machine, as long as it’s serviced and properly maintained then you should get 15+ years out of it. More on reddit.com
