I was a business intelligence engineer, expectation as stated by I think director was 60-80 hours a week. I left after that statement. Pretty sure he was forced out soon after. I grew a lot at Amazon switching from ops to analytics but it was demanding. If you are young, it’s probably worth it, like I said I grew a lot there, did awesome projects and learned a ton. I just wasn’t willing to choose work over kid (first was born before I left). Whatever you do just know you have serious cred and should not be intimidated. They are only human and started off at some point just like you. No one is expecting you to know everything off hand technically. They are looking at how you approach problems, not if you’ve memorized a line of code correctly. It’s all about your attitude.
