Hello. The wedding is in Oct '25 in NY. (per the moderator's request I'm adding that the dress code will be formal/Black Tie Preferable) My FMIL needs a dress and I'm trying to help her find something that would fit her nicely and that isn't exorbitantly expensive. She doesn't live near me and she also doesn't live near a lot big stores or have many boutiques nearby her. She did try one boutique, but didn't have many options for her body type.

Some info: She has light pale skin, dark brown hair. She's a little on the bigger side (she said size 18/20) and she said she wants sleeves to cover her arms as they're big and she doesn't like showing them. Also looking for a long/floor length dress/gown. My fiancé will be wearing a Green Tux/Suit (if that helps).

Any websites you can recommend? I literally spent all day looking at David's Bridal, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Dillards, Macy's, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Amazon.... prob more that I can't think of right now.
