I’m looking forward to upgrading the ram in my Strix Scar 15 with a ryzen 9 5900HX with a 3080. It currently has a 2x8 kit. Looking to upgrade to 2x16 but I want sticks that are fast, have good timings, provide good performance in games and system wise etc.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I understand from the screenshot that I should get a DDR4 but what speed should I be getting: 2400, 2666, 3000, 3200?

What's everyone's thoughts on this for a system used for a mix of gaming, day to day web browsing, and some productivity (office, coding, Linux VM, etc.)
I track DRAM usage through HWInfo and some of the stuff I use is pretty memory intensive and gets me to high usage. Also a lot of newer games now recommending 32GB.
What do you think is it worth upgrading to 32GB now to future proof the system? Or swap to a new CPU/motherboard to enable DDR5? Currently using a Z690 DDR4 board with a 12600K.
