How to do No Boot troubleshooting | Dell US
If the system couldn't boot into safe mode, we need to verify if the hard drive is detected. To do so, turn on your computer. Repeatedly tap the F2 key at the Dell logo screen to enter BIOS.

Cannot enter BIOS settings
I was able to enter BIOS when I receive the laptop (F2 at boot). One of the first things I did upon receiving the machine was to upgrade the BIOS to A20 per Dell instructions (using a bootable USB key into DOS). After that I could still enter BIOS (F2 during boot). Next I performed a fresh install of Win 7 SP1. I could still enter BIOS at that point, then one day out of the blue, I could not ... r/Dell on Reddit: What to do? I can't access bios and it is just stuck here.
October 13, 2021 - CMOS battery, and reinsert it. Then try booting into BIOS ... In a fairly short order. You'll want to restart your "lappy" and right as the power (or before the Dell logo) you'll want to press the F12 key on your keyboard.

Cannot Boot To BIOS Setup (F2) or One-Time Boot Sequence Options (F12) | DELL Technologies
November 26, 2020 - If F2 and F12 are not you into BIOS, you probably accidentally hit the F Lock key - easy to do as it is next to F12. This changes the function of all the function keys which you can program for other actions. To restore the function keys to their base configuration, tap the F lock key once, then try booting again while tapping the F2 or F12 keys as you normally would.

XPS 8930, can't boot into BIOS | DELL Technologies
July 21, 2023 - Another method is when OS drive is removed, a system should trigger error message such as No boot device found, and giving you options: insert a boot device and hit F1 to continue, F2 to enter system setup (BIOS), you can try to boot the computer up without the OS drive to see if given options will display on screen. Last but not least, locate a blue jumper on system board and follow the imprint instruction to perform CMOS reset.

Hi @EuclidesG123  Dell's Product Support did not find Latitude 7400 2-in-2, but did find Latitude 7400 2-in-1.   Unless there are additional features that you want, never update BIOS just because there is a new BIOS version update (1.18.0). There are very specific installation instructions to install a new BIOS file: download file onto your laptop, verify file checksum value, plug-in powered-on ac adapter, make sure main battery has more that 20% of charge, CMOS (coin-cell) BIOS battery works, etc. When installing new BIOS file, all keyboard functions are disabled, loss of power during BIOS installation can brick the laptop.  Please install all the internal parts that have been removed. Remove all external connections to laptop, but keep the powered on ac adapter plugged into the laptop's dc-in port. Press and hold down the Fn key, press the power-on button, wait for ePSA Diagnostics to start before releasing the Fn key. ePSA Pre Boot System Assessment Dell Overview (Official Dell Tech Support) - UPDATED - YouTube Please enable ePSA option to post copy of test results to be installed on the OS(C:) boot drive.  Please share the test result of the ePSA Diagnostics (it does not test everything). For your own protection, never share your private System Service Tag or Express Service Code in this public forum.

Since you have not listed the complete model number I can not confirm if your model supports Dell BIOS recovery or not. Dell saves a little partition in your hard drive with which you can recover bios. In most cases users have formatted the hard drive atleast once so this partition is no longer available.    Please review the link below and use Option 2 USB  https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000132453/how-to-recover-the-bios-on-a-dell-computer-or-tablet#:~:text=Release%20the%20CTRL%20%2B%20ESC%20key%20on%20the%20keyboard.,to%20start%20the%20recovery%20process.   If you can't even boot to BIOS recovery menu than bro you need a new system board.

Unable to access bios with eithe F2 or F12 | DELL Technologies
November 29, 2023 - Twice have seen a momentary support assist screen with option to go to bios setup with Alt B or B but have never been able to get it back and do not know how I caused it to appear. ... Any suggestion or guidance appreciated. ... The XPS8700 does NOT have the TPM chip. You can't install Win11 to it, well, not unless you try some work-arounds (Google for them). Assuming you can BOOT from the USB port or DVD, I'd get the MS Media Creation tool and the W10 deliverable onto a Flash drive of DVD/CD and see if that will install.

Do not panic, the laptop is OK, and the hardware is fine! Just the SSD is unbootable/damaged.I have had the same problem after I used Aomei Partition Expert. The laptop is OK, this is important, just the security keys that the BIOS keeps do not comply with the SSD keys, which have been changed, it seems by the partitioning program. In my case I took the SSD out just to test if the laptop is OK, and boot into BIOS. After that I have managed to use an external SSD case to copy all my files from it and after that to zero all the content of the SSD. The problem in my case looked so bad, that I switched in the BIOS from AHCI to RAID, attached the cleaned SSD, and made a completely new Windows installation from a USB.It works fine now, the RAID configuration makes it use Intel drivers for NVMe, which are better. If even the the laptop does not continue the boot process, and does not allow to start BIOS with the installed SSD, then you might have to do what I was finally forced to do - completely erase/zero the 4 security keys - PK KEK db dbx These keys are in the 'Secure boot'. If you zero them, they will be generated to their defaults. It is an operation with lots of alarms, which made me frightened, but since the hardware is OK, there is nothing to worry about. In my case, my Dell G3 3500 has an Ethernet port and after the alarms asked for connection to the Dell Security Servers, and managed to make his new keys. Everything is fine now! :-)

In my case, I don't care about the computer. I care about the hard drive which is loaded with programs and the 2TB SSD is new. It was working fine until I downloaded/Installed 5kPlayer and VLC media player for MOV files.

I am glad for you that it was not the board or the harddrive, and that you have it up and running.
