I've noticed that when I reconnect the battery connector. Do you keep your charger plugged in after 100% charge?

I have the same model laptop and same issue. Bought a non-OEM battery, and got a 3 amber, 1 white error code (CMOS battery). Swapped original OEM battery (dead) back in, and received same 3 amber, 1 white CMOS battery error code. Bought new CMOS battery but continued to receive the same error codes. Ordered OEM battery from Dell and am now getting rapidly alternating 1 amber, 1 white codes. In summary, I have a new OEM battery from Dell and a new non-OEM CMOS battery (from parts-people.com ) and am getting the same error codes as you. Did you ever find a fix? Thanks. More on reddit.com

Hey fam, can't figure this one for the life of me:
SYSTEM: Dell XPS 13 9350
PROBLEM: Computer wouldn't turn on or show any signs of life. Bought a new (non-OEM) battery from Amazon, dropped it in, computer powers up now, and stays on without issue. However battery level stays even (won't charge), and front LED lights alternate 1 white then 1 amber/orange blink. Yes, ONE blink each, rapidly, same duration on each color.
WHAT I HAVE TRIED/RULED OUT:

Swapped this new (non-OEM) battery with my wife's Dell XPS 13 9350 (same exact computer as me) and she gets no blinking lights...just the solid white happy zone

Swapped the CMOS battery between our two computers, no change

Swapped chargers (neither are OEM), and her computer has solid white light with both chargers.

Flashed BIOS, no change

Pulled batter + CMOS, held down power button for 45 seconds, replugged in everything, same thing.
So in a nutshell, I swapped all components related to batter (main 60watt batter + CMOS + charging cable) with my wife's computer and she gets solid white with all configurations and components, and mine always blinks white/orange and won't charge batter (but computer stays on and works perfectly)

Actually just figured it out. Whoever worked on this system before me had put the screws in the wrong places and the screw used to secure the NVMe drive was shorting out on something. Used a shorter screw and system boots without any issues.

This site shows LED error codes for the XPS 13 2-in-1, and I'm guessing the codes are the same on the XPS 13 7350: Here are the codes from the site: LED Error Codes Amber/White Error 2/1 CPU Failure 2/2 System board, BIOS or ROM failure 2/3 No RAM detected 2/4 RAM failure 2/5 Invalid RAM installed 2/6 System board or chipset error 2/7 LCD failure 3/1 CMOS battery failure 3/2 PCI or video card or chip failure 3/3 Recovery image not found 3/4 Recovery image found but not accessible With 2 amber/7 white, it looks like the OP is getting a report of an LCD failure. My guess is that the test is just getting an incorrect result triggered by the given on/off/open/close sequence.

MOBIDUTCH, The front LED indicates the battery charge state. White Battery is getting charged. Amber Battery is low or critical. Off Computer is plugged in and the battery is fully charged. I am assuming you heard about all of this directly from the phone technician. I checked to see if there was further diagnostic indicators and I didn't find any listed anywhere. There where a number of diagnostic beep codes for the notebook One Possible system board failure - BIOS ROM checksum failure Two No RAM detected. Three Possible system board failure - Chipset error Four RAM read/write failure Five Real Time Clock failure Six Video card or chip failure Seven Processor failure Eight Display failure Did you notice any beep codes when this happens or only the LED flashing? I don't think that there is anything wrong with the system but I will be shooting you a friend request incase something further happens. TB

I've had the laptop about 3 years now. I had the motherboard replaced about a year ago. It's been working fine, but today the light started flashing yellow 4 times then white 6 times. Does this mean the battery is shot, or something is wrong with the BIOS?
All the code guides I've seen online only talk about 3 amber flashes, not 4. Have I discovered a new Dell laptop error code? Lol

You know what, the end of this story with blinking was service center... Motherboard was replaced with new one.

Example: Dell XPS 13 9350 Secondly, I like to suggest you try the steps below A) Disconnect all peripherals(printer, external drive, etc...) from computer B) Power off computer C) Unplug the AC adapter from computer and wall socket D) Press and hold in the 'Power On' button for 15 seconds then release E) Plug in the AC adapter into the wall socket, then the computer F) Press the 'Power On' button. Hopefully your computer run normally If those steps didn't work then I like to suggest you run the Diagnostic tool on your computer to scan for hardware problems. A) Power off computer B) Power on computer, quickly tap the F12 key continuously. You should be in the Diagnostic screen. Please list any error codes.

I unfortunately have a RAM problem (2 amber flashes followed by 4 white flashes) on my XPS 13 9305. First instance, I opened up the back, disconnected the battery and held the power button for several seconds and then the system booted back up.
After working for a few hours I had some more BSODs and now it won't boot with the same flashing sequence.
I no longer have a warranty on the system and I am aware that the RAM is soldered on to the motherboard on these XPS 13. Just wondering how to go about fixing the problem and how much a motherboard replacement might cost. I'm based in the UK.

I got the 2 white pause 3 orange (amber?) code I pulled out all 4 sticks and switch them around 1 at a time. Got NO change. Anyone have any ideas on what to d now? BTW!! With all 4 sticks installed the PC seems to be working fine
