I never saw Diana in real life, but I know she looked up from under her lashes at times. She was known for it. I feel the show really overplayed that mannerism, to the point I wonder if the actress had a sore neck by the end! I did appreciate the pre-Panorama makeup prep scene. IRL she did her own makeup and really overdrew her eyeliner. I was glad they kept that detail. More on reddit.com

I wouldn’t call them besties, but after the divorce they did become friendlier with each other. Reportedly they were getting along and able to talk about William and Harry without arguing. Charles was tired of being the eternal loser in the media war and now that Diana wasn’t Royal he didn’t see her as direct competition anymore so her popularity didn’t bother him as much. Diana finally accepted that Camilla was the love of Charles’s life; maybe now that he wasn’t her husband it didn’t bother her as much, maybe she just saw it as inevitable and didn’t blame herself, but she was able to accept Camilla with Charles in a way she couldn’t while they were married. So they made peace with each other, and while I don’t think they were friends, they were able to be friendly with each other, focus on their charity work and their children, and wish each other well.
