I'm tackling a pretty big diy project. I've watched a lot of videos and feel fairly but confident but know I'll be doing more sanding than a pro. There are three basement windows and I just keep thinking "god wouldn't it be great to just be able to vacuum the dust outside as I sand?" I know there are also vacuum products with a filter bag.
Are any of these actually worthwhile, or should I just buy a roll of rosin paper?

They usually have these at rental places. It's not worth buying one unless you intend on going into business with it. Just understand that the circular sanders have a high risk of messing up your project if you're not careful.

Anyone here got an opinion on whether drywall sanders (like this Vevor one) are better/worse with built-in vacuums or whether using an external vacuum would work better??
Seems like it'd be way less hassle with a built-in vacuum but then maybe they're not as powerful or add too much weight for when you're trying to sand ceilings etc...?
