Blessings Fedaykin,
Some of you may have noticed the new widget up on the new-design sidebar for desktop reddit. We (the mod team) are in the process of re-vamping the wiki.
For those of us on mobile the articles consist of: a revised F.A.Q. a companion site index for the fandom, and consolidation of the sub rules and posting guidelines as noted between old-design reddit and new-design reddit. The next two articles to be added to the sidebar will be a listing of IRL & online club and fan communities off of reddit, and an upcoming IRL events calendar that will track release and preview dates for new media, and new club/convention/book signing events.
These first few articles are going to be the ground work for a bigger effort to consolidate all the information coming in from various sources quickly on the New Film, TV series, and upcoming games. There will also be sections that have extensive archives and external links to the media already produced in the Dune Fandom: This will include the core series by Frank Herbert, Prequels & Sequels by Brian Herbert and K.J. Anderson, prior Film and TV series, and information about some of the video, card, and board games we have come to know and love (or not.) and their respective fan communities. This will include external news and blog articles about these things.
It's our hope that in organizing this all in a way that is accessible for new and veteran fans alike, we can connect people to new communities and media they may not have known existed before the recent resurgence in interest.
As always, a wiki is a living archive. The more folks we have contributing, updating, correcting, and even critiquing- the stronger the wiki and the fandom is. We welcome recommendations, new articles, links, and references to the modmail desk.
May your Crysknife never fail;
-Ak
