Greetings and felicitations. I bought a Dyson Ball vacuum off of eBay a few years back; the title of that sale says it is a (model) CSS 0751. It is corded, not battery powered, and the trim is purple. Today I unclogged it. However, I can't get the beater brush assembly to stay on. I align the power pug and socket, but the suction tube, while it fits together, does not snap. Any suggestions?
Edit: Never mind (my aoplogies)—I found the collar the holds the assembly on. -_-;;;

Does anyone know how to remove this cylinder from the inside of the vacuum head? Trying to remove to clean the whole thing out. I can’t find anything on YouTube or in the maintenance guide.

Did you run it under the tap..? That looks like there is water in there and it’s is REALLY BAD to run it under the tap. You can’t remove the cylinder (it houses the motor and the wires). Only way to clean the head really deeply is to take the whole thing apart which I do not recommend doing as I done it to mine and it was an absolute nightmare to get it back together. If you have run it under water anyway, leave it to dry for a few days. It should be ok but put the brush back in and make sure it spins. You clean the clear window, you should get a damp cloth and while the brush roller is in, try and roll the cloth round to clean the top. (Do this by hand do not turn the machine on to do this…)
