Should I vacuum before wet cleaning my floor?
How often do I need to change the water in clean water tank?
How do I know when the clean water tank is empty/needs refilling?
I’m thinking about finally getting a Dyson, and was thinking about the V15S détect submarine absolute, as it is on sale for 999CAD from 1199CAD.
My thought was that I could replace my spin mop, dustbuster, and regular vacuum. I have a fairly small amount of equal amounts of moppable flooring/non-moppable laminate/carpet.
Stairs are a problem - I have numerous pets who shed silky hair on the stairs. The dustbuster is useless and my vacuum is cumbersome and only marginally effective, and I don’t vac as often as I should because it is a two-person job.
Is there a lot of power as a handheld item? I was hoping that if it has enough power I could use it that way on the stairs, and vacuum daily.
Getting my first dyson vacuum and can’t decide between the two. Haven’t really seen any good reviews of the submarine either so I have no clue if it’s worth it. The price of these vacuums is almost the same where I live, submarine is 70€ more expensive..
My partner and I are choosing between these two vacuum sets. The price difference is quite minimal (~5%) due to Black Friday deals.
We would love some advice on which one to choose given the V15s has a hard floor washing head too.
| Model | Price |
|---|---|
| V15s Submarine Complete Vacuum (gold HEPA edition) | $999 |
| Gen5Detect Complete Vacuum (Prussian blue and rich copper edition) | $1049 |
Below are a comparison of what comes in the package:
V15s Submarine Complete Vacuum (gold HEPA edition) Gen5Detect Complete Vacuum (Prussian blue and rich copper edition)Based on what I can see, there is a around a 5% price difference between these two but the v15s has a wet roller head option.
Gen5Detect is the newest model with no wet roller head.
What's your advice and what would you choose?
Any feedback on your experience with these two models is appreciated too.
