This battery works great. lithium is lithium. even generic battery tech has gotten pretty good. If you don't have the laser fluffy head, here is a generic one . they also have clip on lasers you can add to your regular fluffy head if you have that one. Alternatively you can search for a used genuine one on ebay for a discount. More on reddit.com

We've got a Dyson V8 Absolute that now only works for a short while before the battery dies, so I'm looking for a replacement.
Is it recommended to get an actual Dyson brand battery, or are there any safe (less expensive) options available?
