Are they insane? Why would I want a call back from someone I can't even understand half of what they are saying, when important things are at hand? Wouldn't a chat work 10000000000000000 times better? Like it used to?

Update: It all depends on the direction you go for support. Went a different route today and easily got chat person.
But originally, when choosing, didn't get my item, no can do with chat.
the chat assistant seems completely broken.. I asked to talk to a human, and refuses. I saw in another thread that I should type "Im not happy with ebay". And I get the following.
Does customer support actually exist of do they just have some troll of a bot to keep taking people in circles and are actually unable to provide support?
(I got an item that has been shipped and delivered when I check the tracking number on the couriers website, but it says on ebay it hasn't even been shipped)
