So every time I start my pc or Fan Control I have to pair speed sensors and configure all desired settings again. I've tried reinstalling, running as admin but nothing seems to work.. Edit: I rolled back to V186 and it saves everything without issue. V207 is the one i have the save issue with. More on github.com

I don’t understand how you all haven’t used the driver that doesn’t pop the security threat. It’s way better than just an exception. To use the alternate branch (PawnIO, thanks to @namazso) : Update to at least V235, and close FanControl completely (EXIT). (Optional but recommended) Backup your Configuration folder Download the net4.8 or net8.0 version of LibreHardwareMonitorLib.dll depending on your existing installation Install the PawnIO driver Place the LibreHardwareMonitorLib.dll inside your existing Plugins folder, or create a Plugins/ folder and place it in there Launch FanControl If successful, in the About tab, you should see the relative path to the LibreHardwareMonitorLib.dll being used (\Plugins...) Any suggestions on why fan control is not detecting any fans / sensors?
I tried Embedded EC (ASUS), and also other Libre checkboxes but nothing gets detected. The only thing i can get detected is the AMD RDNA GPU if i check it.
- I've tried both v207 install (.net8) and standalone client.
- Also tried couple Plugins ASUS WMI and HWiNFO but both seem to be out of date on GitHub and not working.
Recent ASUS x570 Hero was working fine (out of the box) on this version.
EDIT1: Originally Plugin DDLs were not unblocked, however after unblocking them still same issue.
EDIT2: v209 recently became available but for me it freezes the app when I try and refresh, scan for fans.
- Update LibreHardwareMonitorLib (some X870 support + various other motherboards)
EDIT3: v212 the intaller version of FanControll is now detecting fans on start but freezes when doing the re-scann. The Portable (standalone run from folder) version is working normally. I can see, rescan and control fans like normal without any plugins. My x870E seems to be back in support (yay!). Haven't figured out why installed version of the app freezes

Quick PSA; for Asus x870-i users, fancontrol now is compatible. It also provides control for the integrated VRM fan which is cool.
