Organization plan overview – Figma Learn - Help Center
Only organization admins can manage billing on the Organization plan. The Organization plan uses an annual subscription with quarterly invoices. Your subscription cost is based on the number of Full, Dev, and Collab seats. View seats are free. Note: Billing is separate from permissions. A paid seat gives someone access to Figma products, while permissions determine what they can do in specific files or projects.

May 6, 2025 - The “full seat” request means the external user needs a paid seat in your organization to edit your Figma file, adding to your bill (e.g., $15/month for Professional plan). Their Pro account doesn’t cover it since your organization owns the file. ... Share “view-only” access (no seat needed). Use drafts for free editing. Have them host the file in their Pro account. Remove their seat after collaboration (Admin > People).

r/FigmaDesign on Reddit: How to Tell Who’s a Full Team Member vs. Limited-access Team Member vs. Guest in Figma?
March 3, 2025 -

Hey everyone,

I’m on Figma’s Professional Plan, and I’ve been trying to figure out how to distinguish between full team members, limited-access team members, and guests in a file or project, and in my team members list. However, I’ve noticed some confusing behaviors:

  1. In the Members page under Team Settings, even guests appear alongside team members.

  2. Some team members only have access to specific files rather than the entire team’s projects, making it unclear who my full team members are.

  3. When I click Share on a file, it only explicitly lists guests. For team members, it just says "People in [Team Name] have access" without listing their names.

This makes it difficult to quickly determine who is a full team member, who is a guest, and which team members have access only to certain files. Is there a reliable way to tell them apart? How can I see a list of my full team members who have access to everything and be able to distinguish them from my limited-access members and guests?

This is slowly becoming an issue for my team and I gladly welcome any input on this from everyone!
