Hi, my plumber asked me if I have a rough-in valve for the free standing tub faucet. I ordered mine from Amazon and they didn't mention the need for a valve? Do I need it? The plumber also said the faucet needs to be ASSE approved. They recommend me to get one of these faucets at Ferguson but they are so expensive there. What choice do I have?
