I'm writing this fanfic that entails a story between two characters in the modern world that grow up as childhood friends and are in college together.

The dynamic is that the boy is in love with the girl, but the girl isn't looking for a relationship - or is at least seemingly only wanting for something casual. They always seem to kiss and make-out (not hookup) when drunk, but she always dismisses him as just a good friend when they're sober. Eventually the boy "pulls away" and it becomes this tug and pull dynamic between the two with their feelings.

So, I wanted to be cool with the fic title and I wanted to know if anyone had a good idea for something clever that described a dynamic of two people dancing around each other's feelings. And if there's a specific word for it then that'd be cool too (ie: You know how "Petrichor" is the specific word for the smell of soil after it rains)

I’m currently working on outlining a new story but I’m blanking when it comes to a title. Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

For some reference, the story is based around a the main character’s best friend’s wedding, which subsequently means the brother of the best friend will be there. The main character has had a crush on him since she’s known him, but hides her attraction to him behind snarky and sarcastic remarks since he shows no interest in her and they’re always bickering or pranking each other. But during pre-wedding festivities the best friend’s brother and main character eventually fall for each other.

I have a couple title ideas, like To Fall For Him, Disastrously Beautiful, or Hating to Love, but I’m not sure any of them sound good. Thoughts?
